My name is Megan, welcome to Capturing Gaia. 

I am a mother of five with with a heart for nature and a serious case of wanderlust, and my passions led me to photography. As we walk through life nothing we can own is more precious than photos-they are a life story in a frame. Be it your wedding, the birth of a baby, a family reunion, senior photos, or a Tuesday when your 7 year old is covered in brownie batter, I want to be there to write that page of your life story. I know my clients love their families as wholly and fiercely as I do mine, so I pour my soul into every stage of this process. My photography style is natural, raw, and unposed. I do not offer studio photography, but rather lifestyle photography either in your home (or a place you feel at home) or out in nature. When I look into my lens I am not looking for your best smile, I am looking for your real smile. Gaia is the earth, she is nature, she is life, and that is what I am here to capture with my lens.
